OYC Training
The State of Michigan - Bureau of Child and Adult Licensing requires child care providers to receive annual professional development. This can be achieved through face-to-face training, correpondence or on-line workshops.
OYC can assist in your training needs.

At OYC, all of our trainers have Bachelor Degrees or higher in early childhood education or a related field. We all feel strongly about OYC's mission, vision & values and take great pride in the work we do!
There are opportunities for professional growth and resources to help you advance as far along the early childhood & education career path as you want to go! We can help you earn your Child Development Associates (CDA), connect you to a scholarship program called TEACH and more.
Come to a Workshop or Study Long-Distance from Home!

OYC has workshops at local area child care centers, libraries, community centers, churches and at our office location during hours in the evenings and on weekends. Workshops are adult-directed and held in a casual, friendly atmosphere.
CPR/First Aid certification is also available at OYC .
There are other professional development opportunities near you, and around Mid-Michigan.
We are also able to travel to your program to provide staff training or CPR certification. Contact a Program Coordinator for details.
